It is a bright, airy apartment which has been sympathetically restored to fit into the historic setting in Veli-varos, one of the most character filled quarters of old Split. There is a large, private sun terrace just outside the door, giving you views over terracotta roofs towards the majestic Dinaric mountains.
Rising above the apartment is the Marjan, a tree covered hill which offers superb views over the city and which provides six square kilometres of parkland for walking and biking, as well as hiding dozens of small coves suitable for swimming.
This is a great apartment from which to explore the old city and is also within easy reach of the ferry port making exploring the beautiful islands a must! Catamarans as well as the large passenger and car ferries give you a great opportunity to explore islands such as Brac, Hvar and Korcula, which are all stunning and well worth a day trip. For shop-a-holics, there are plenty of boutiques in the old town and exploring is a joy. The local market also offers a great choice of fruit and vegetables, local cheese and local wine to wash it all down with!
