The main attraction of the Okrug Gornji is the long beach known as ‘Copacabana’ that scallops around the curve of the bay – Okrug Gornji is Ciovo’s main beach resort with a good selection of bars and restaurants serving pizzas, steaks, sandwiches, a range of great coffees, soft & alcoholic drinks.

BELVEDERE BEACH, SEGET VRANJICA

Belvedere Beach is on the other side of the Seget Vranjica peninsula to the main bay and has a very pleasant promenade along the sea edge with little coves, swimming spots, cafe bars, restaurants, water sports (windsurfing, jet ski’s, boat hire) and a water taxi line to Trogir Old Town.

Saldun Beach in Saldun Bay sits between the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Old Town of Trogir and the resort of Okrug Gornji meaning it has the best of both worlds as a location.

MARINA BAY BEACHES

Marina Bay has two lots of beaches really – as you come into Marina Bay from Trogir direction, just as you swing around the bay and see the old part of Marina town and the yacht marina, there is a cove with beach bar – this is the closest beach to some of the villas here.

KRKNJASI LAGOON, DRVENIK ISLAND

The Krknjasi lagoon on the island of Drvenik sits just off the coast of Trogir on the Split Riviera – Easy to reach by boat from Trogir, this is a beautiful and unspoilt area, explore lovely little coves and bays, perfect for sunbathing and swimming… While you are there, don’t miss the popular Dalmatian restaurant, “The Communists” which serves great traditional Dalmatian fare and of course, wonderful seafood.

MEDENA BEACH, SEGET DONJI

The beautiful Seget promenade and beach span 3km and stretches along the coast from Seget Donji, near Trogir Old Town at one end to Medena Beach and then on to Seget Vranjica Bay at the other end.

If you want to explore some of Croatia’s more untouched beaches, this is your beach – Kava Beach is about 1km past the pretty fishing village of Slatine Bay, on the eastern end of Ciovo Island.

Pantan Beach is is a fine shingle/sand beach about 500 metres long with a pine tree wood on one side and is a lovely little beach for families with small children.
