The Bijoux Apartments and Rooms are located right inside the Old Town of Dubrovnik itself! Of various types and sizes, the rooms, studios and apartments have a higgledy-piggledy layout due to the age of the buildings and their location in the old city. There are lots of steep steps in the property and old town, and the apartments are quite small so they are not really suitable for for older people or those with limited mobility (as is typical in the old town) but they make a great base from which to explore.
Take a trip into history as you step into this centuries old house located on a tiny street. From the moment you step outside the front door, you are surrounded by the hustle and bustle that is unique to this medieval town. Cafes, shops, beautiful marble paved streets, Mediterranean flowers and plants - wandering around this amazing town is a marvel in itself and transports you to another time. Breakfast is not included but it is possible to have breakfast at the little restaurant around the corner very cheaply if you would like - please enquire about this.
There is plenty to see and do in and around the Old Town - especially if you visit during the summer festival time from the 10th July - 25th August for example...and if you want to explore further a field then you could try kayaking round a nearby island or visiting one of the lovely little fishing villages on the Dubrovnik Riviera, like Mlini or Slano...
