OVERVIEW
You will travel this breath taking scenery to be introduced to the best Peljesac Peninsula has to offer. During a visit to one of the best local wineries you will meet the winemaker, learn about the process of winemaking, and of course taste the finished product. Another quintessential tradition of Peljesac is oyster farming. Your tour will take you via small boat to the actual oyster farm where you will be introduced to the philosophy and techniques behind traditional oyster and mussel farming and taste delicious oysters right at the source. This trip wouldn’t be complete without a lunch of local delicacies in a serene setting of a small family owned winery.
There will be a chance to visit historical town of Ston famous for its defensive walls and ancient salt factory. Ston is a perfect place for a light stroll and a coffee break before returning to your accommodation after a day of enjoying the best this area has to offer.

10:00 Van pick up
10:00 – 11:00 Drive to Peljesac Peninsula
11:00 – 12:00 Oyster farm visit, presentation, and snack (accompanied by local wine)
12:00 – 12:15 Drive to Ponikve village
12:15 – 13:15 Winery tour, presentation, and tasting
13:15 – 13:45 Drive to family owned winery
13:45 – 15:15 Winery presentation and homemade lunch with wine pairing
15:15 – 16:15 Scenic drive to the town of Ston through the vineyards
16:15 – 17:15 Short introduction tour and time at leisure in Ston
17:15 – 18:00 Return trip to Dubrovnik

USEFUL TIPS
Bring comfortable shoes and preferably a hat or cap if doing the tour on a hot day. Water bottles are a good idea.
