SPLIT OLD TOWN

Split is very close to Trogir and certainly worth visiting, especially if you want to do a bit of sightseeing or discover more of the history of the area… The Palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian (started approx 293AD) is a must see – the palace makes up much of the “Riva” which is the waterfront of the old town of Split and is about 30 thousand square metres.

Primosten lies just up the coast from Split & Trogir – it boasts an beautiful old town, jutting out into the sea and is surrounded by turquoise water, about half an hour’s drive from Trogir, it is a pleasant drive.

Seget Vranjica is an old fishing town on a small peninsula, and is a lovely spot for a holiday – It has everything within easy reach and pretty beaches around the bay – It is just 5 kms or a five minute drive west from the medieval UNESCO World Heritage town of Trogir and its restaurants, shops, coffee shops, ice cream parlours and food markets.
