Croatia Island Escapes
Brac Island is one of our current favourites for sheer unspoiled, natural beauty. Quaint and quintessentially Croatian with seaside towns and villages Brac has some sublime Croatia Island escapes. The thing we love about Brac though is that there are some superb villas with pools and apartments with and without pools here, in very good locations, all within an easy wander of turquoise bays, beaches, restaurants and activities. A villa on Brac Island really ticks all boxes for a Croatia Island escapes.
Korcula Island is another wonderfully authentic Croatia island escapes and some Korcula villas have very special locations. Hvar Island has a bit of split personality with Hvar Town being a mecca for the jet set and nightlife lovers during July and August but more sedate the rest of the summer season, and the rest of the island being very provincial with hidden bays and little sea edge fishing villages – Croatia Island escapes for everyone…
The areas of Split and Dubrovnik also have their own pretty little islands, often with sandy beaches that you can stay in a Croatia Island villa on, or apartment. These are idyllic little car-free mini-islets with rich heritages and full of local charm! They are close to the mainland and well connected with local ferries so it’s easy to get back and forth and into the main towns without too much trouble – if you can bear to tear yourself away from the beach bars hidden away on the islands! Once you’re there, you might decide not to move!
