Croatian  Magic – Yachting in Croatia

by Saron Lease of Croatia Gems, 23rd September 2023

Bored of the usual holidays – why not try your hand at sailing, whether you are a complete novice or have enjoyed previous sailing experiences, the Adriatic Sea is very special because it encompasses over one thousand islands – each unique and crying out for yachting in Croatia. What’s not to like – stunning scenery, beautiful crystal clear sea, seductive Mediterranean sunshine and delicious food & wine.

Croatia offers peace and quiet, leisure and relaxation. Just give Croatia a try,  just once and something will keep calling you back. It’s a country of exceptional scenic beauty and there is so much of it to explore What better way to explore by way of yachting in Croatia.

Chose your ports from Dubrovnik to Split to make the most of the smaller islands, there are courses for beginners and experienced sailors. Or just hire a skippered boat. Once you’re ready, charter your own boat and explore further afield, head north towards Zadar and its myriad of tiny islands – mostly privately owned and protected but so many allow you to sail around them and moor in their sheltered bays. Explore the larger islands like Pag and Krk and discover places that ordinary holiday makers can only dream of.

Many groups, undecided which type of holiday to have, will choose a week of sailing followed by a week in a Croatia villa, so they have the best of both worlds. Feel free to ask our advice on this, or do have a look at our villa selection, some offering boat mooring. If you don’t find what you want there, do have a look at our ‘By Request only’ villa portfolio. Alternatively, just give us a call or email us and we’ll find a lovely Croatia villa for you.
