Croatia villa for holidays – classic Croatia gems for your wish list

We have a lot of lovely villas here at Croatia Gems, all of which suit one group or another. However, there are some Croatia villas for holidays which are tried and tested, over and again by our regular guests. We ask all our guests for feedback after their holiday, so here is a selection of these villas that always get really good reviews.
Dubrovnik villa with private pool
If Dubrovnik is in your sights for a Croatia villa for holidays, have a look at these villas:
Villa Anamaria has 5 bedrooms and the views are absolutely stunning and it’s only 10 minutes walk down to the sea front in Mlini Bay with its beaches, restaurants and water taxi into Dubrovnik old town.
Summer Villa also has 5 bedrooms and is an elegant villa set in large grounds on the edge of Mlini, with badminton and boules as well as a super concierge who’ll help make your holiday memorable.
If you need a smaller villa, then newly renovated, contemporary, 3 bedroom Villa Turquoise continues to get great reviews. It is within a couple of minutes’ walk from Mlini’s sea front and all its amenities. Great host and the sunset views are to die for!
If you are a large group, have a look at 6 bedroom Villa Belvedere – large grounds and peace and quiet here. You have the bus stop into Dubrovnik outside the gate. And along with a honey farm over the lane, the bread man also delivers every morning!
If a large villa in Cavtat is your goal, then 6 bedroom Villa Cavtat is for you. It’s an easy walk into the centre with its beaches and restaurants, plus the water taxi will take you to Dubrovnik or the little islands off the coast.
If you really need to ‘go large’, Villa Sophia at lovely Zaton, has ample room with 9 bedrooms. Walk to restaurants and beaches and not far from Dubrovnik old town.

Peljesac peninsula villa with private pool
Peljesac is the second largest peninsula on the Adriatic coast. There is a lot of interest here for shellfish lovers, wine buffs and water sport enthusiasts. And it is only a 10 minute ferry hop over to lovely Korcula town on Korcula island from Orebic.
Actually, this villa doesn’t have a pool, but in this location, why would you need one? Villa Coturi, near bustling Orebic, has an absolutely stunning location by a paradise beach. Five bedrooms and just steps above the beach.
Or, at at the very tip of the peninsula, have a look at beach side Villa Coral which got really good reviews recently.
Need something larger? Villa Ciello in Orebic has 8 bedrooms and is sea edge and close to everything.

Split villa with private pool
A great alternative to Dubrovnik for your Croatia villa for holidays, is the Split Riviera, with its long coastline and easy access to the islands:
Palm Tree Villa has been given an ‘excellent’ rating by so many of our guests over the years and never fails to achieve 5 stars. Sea edge, with 6 bedrooms and a super helpful and attentive host, you will not fail to take away long-lasting memories from your holiday here. Restaurants, beaches and a water taxi into stunning Trogir old town are within an easy walk from the villa.
Villa Francesca is an excellent large villa if your have children as it has a nice grassy garden and playground. 6 bedrooms and you can walk to everything. The villa is located between Split and Trogir, so easy to access both for their historic town centres, restaurants and shops.
Villa Cinquento 5 is sea edge and has four bedrooms. Great location on the beach, plus you get a heated pool, boat mooring and 24/7 access to the gym. It is close to restaurants and shops and on a bus line to get to the water taxi from Slatine harbour into Split or Trogir. Maybe one of the Cinquento 6 bedroom villas would give you more space?
Smaller Split villa
For a smaller villa, high-spec Villa Marissa is for you. Three bedrooms and within easy access of Okrug Gornji’s beaches and restaurants, but also close to the water taxi into Trogir with more restaurants and markets. Super hosts who will help make your holiday memorable.
Head further up the coast to Marina for well-priced Villa Marina Beach. 4 bedrooms and a short walk to beaches and restaurants, or 3 bedroom Villa Pearl just steps from the sea edge at Seget Vranjica.
We have many villas in the Split area from the Omis and Podstrana areas down the coast, to Primosten on the way up.
Brac island villa with private pool
Just a 50 minute ferry hop from Split old town (or a faster private boat transfer from the airport jetty), Brac is a super location for our holiday:
Villa Godi Star continues to wow our clients. Sea edge 5 bedroom villa with lovely pool/dining terrace where we guarantee you will spend most of your villa time. The villa host can cook for you if you wish. Also he has his own excursions company so will be on hand to take you to hidden beach and restaurant gems if you so wish. Beaches, restaurants and a beach bar within walking distance, with more in Sumartin.
At the other end of the island Villa Corrine has 6 bedrooms, and the produce-laden garden leads down to the beach at Mirca. The villa host can organise anything for you, from a chef, restaurant bookings, kayak/bike/SUP hire, shopping etc.
Smaller Brac island villa
For a smaller villa 3 bedroom Villa Sinatra by Sumartin and its hosts, continues to receive lovely reviews. It has a really nice pool terrace area, great sea views and is steps from the sea edge. Walkable also to other beaches, restaurants and a beach bar, and more a 20-minute walk into Sumartin.
