Easter Family Holiday In Croatia?

by Saron Lease  21/02/2022

The main tourist season begins in April when temperatures start warming up, so why not browse through these lovely villas and start planning…. Oh, and we’ve looked out some flights for you too….

With flight times averaging at about 2 hours 30 minutes, Croatia is an easy destination for a short break, with easy transfer times from the airports to the main tourist spots in the country.

DUBROVNIK VILLAS

Villa Cavtat is a stunning 5 bedroom Croatian family villa with a heated pool and fabulous views of the bay. 16th – 23rd April is available for just €3070.20.  Cavtat, at the heart of Cavtat Bay is a beautiful old town and this villa is right in the old town itself – it’s just a short walk down to the bay which is full of atmosphere and has everything you need – swimming spots, good selection of restaurants and bars and lovely views. Cavtat is also a short transfer from the airport and you can get the water taxi into Dubrovnik or to the little islands off the coast.

Or take a look at Villa Pia which is really popular with larger families – 6 bedrooms and arranged over two apartments (will accommodate 12-16 people), the villa has great views from the sea to the mountains. A heated pool plus table tennis, a children’s playground and a great BBQ area. €2,892 per week. Villa Pia is in the Konavle Region which is getting more popular each year as people drift away from the beaches, and is very reminiscent of Tuscany –  this is a stunning area which is so peaceful  but with lots of activities for children and adults alike – horse riding, wine tasting, the best family and traditional farmhouse restaurants, quad bikes, horse riding, folk dancing displays.  It has great beaches also, just a short drive from most of the villas. For active families there is now a new adventure park nearby with mountain bikes, paintball, ziplines etc. It’s also very close to the Montenegro border for a change of scenery.

SPLIT RIVIERA VILLAS

On a new development of just 5 luxury villas, the Cinquento villas have quite a few bells and whistles on offer, some with a heated pool, all with 24/7 access to a gym and free boat mooring.

Villa Cinquento 1 has 6 bedrooms, all en-suite, and is on the beach  €3,360 per week.

Its sister, Villa Cinquento 5  has 4 bedrooms and has the benefit of a heated pool!  €3,640 per week in April.

BRAC ISLAND VILLAS

Villa Nicholina has a fantastic location on the beach in a very beautiful part of Brac – 7 bedrooms, so lots of space also only a 20 minute walk along the beach into Supetar or 5 minutes in a taxi. There is also a wonderful concierge there who takes care of all your needs. It would make for a super Easter family holiday in Croatia.

Villa Corrine is next door has 6 bedrooms and the most beautiful garden full of fresh produce, so if you have a budding chef in your party this could tick all the boxes.

Both villas have a basket of local goodies delivered to guests on Easter morning – a bargain at €3,220 a week for Nicholina and €3,770 for Corrine.
