Holiday in Croatia – Croatia Drops all Covid-19 Entry Requirements

By Croatia Gems, 3rd May 2022

We have good news for those who have booked a holiday in Croatia this year, as from 1 May 2022, Croatia has dropped all COVID-19 entry requirements.

Relax on your holiday in Croatia

Previously

In response to the pandemic, non-EU citizens wishing to visit Croatia had been required to produce either proof of vaccination or recent recovery from Covid, or a negative test result, plus proof of paid accommodation.

Requirements now

In dropping the Covid-19 entry requirements, all travellers entering for a holiday in Croatia can now do so under the same conditions of entry that were in force before the COVID-19 pandemic, that is just with valid travel documents.

It is unclear at present if the requirement to complete the online ‘Enter Croatia’ form is still needed.

Check the time left on your passport before your holiday in Croatia

Visitors to Croatia and any EU country, should check they have ample time left on passports. See: https://www.gov.uk/visit-eu-switzerland-norway-iceland-liechtenstein

All ready to book?

If you haven’t yet booked your Croatia villa, do have a look at our website for a guide on the areas to choose from, all the way from Istria in the north to the Dubrovnik Riviera in the south. Foodies might choose Istria for the truffles, Ston for the oysters or Konavle for traditional fare. Wine might be your thing, so head for the Peljesac peninsula or Hvar Island perhaps. Fabulous beaches are dotted all along the mainland and island coasts. Contact us here at Croatia Gems to talk through your requirements and help you choose a villa.  As well as searching our main villa pages, do also have a look at our ‘By request only’ villa portfolio.
