Copacabana Beach is near the area called Babin Kuk at Solitudo which is on the Lapad Peninsula and close to the main beach there. It is a very popular beach and enjoyed by the locals who live and work around the Lapad area. It’s a pretty crescent beach of fine pebble/shingle and lovely for taking a dip. It’s a good family beach and has a restaurant, cafe bar, ice cream parlour and a fruit shop! It is also good for activities as you can rent kayaks here and other sports equipment. There are also changing rooms and showers so you can leave salt free!
To get to Copacabana Beach, take Bus no. 6 to Lapad and from Orsan Sailing Club, walk along the sea edge for about 15 minutes. Or stay on the bus until the last stop and hop off at Babin Kuk then walk from there….
