For a villa in Croatia which ticks all boxes you can’t go far wrong with Palm Tree Villa. It’s just a 10 minute drive from UNESCO Trogir old town on the Split Riviera and walkable to all you need. This stylish, quality villa is perfect for groups of friends, or for a family wanting a Croatia holiday. It’s literally on the beach, so the famous crystal clear Adriatic sea is just yards away. Sit in the jacuzzi and watch the beach if you don’t want to venture out of the garden! Or sunbathe by the pool. With lush foliage and mature palm trees, this is a lovely spot for a Croatian villa holiday, and just a handy 20 minute transfer from the airport.
Palm Tree Villa is one of our favourite large Croatia villas and always gets great reviews. It has a good gym and sauna as well as a games room on the beach with a pool table, SUP, and kayaks. The BBQ is actually a Croatian summer kitchen complete with traditional wood burning BBQ and outside kitchen so you can cook alfresco with ease. It’s a particularly good Split villa for multi-generation groups too, as the villa has much to offer all ages at the villa and within easy reach.
Everything you need close by
There’s a water taxi just a short walk away to get into Trogir, and a bus service that goes there too, or to Slatine village in the other direction. A water taxi over to Split old town goes regularly from Slatine harbour – so easy! With a convenience store just a few minutes walk just along the street and a handful of local restaurants and a beach bar too, the villa has the ideal location. In one direction you have the old town of Trogir with its winding car-free lanes, boats, restaurants and coffee shops. Don’t miss out on its great fruit, veg, meat and fish markets selling everything from olives and local olive oil to the freshest fish and Croatian prosciutto! In the other direction are the unspoilt beaches and coastline of Slatine. It is definitely a good idea to get advice on the best places to visit and ideas to make the most of a holiday to Croatia because many places are known to locals and not obvious to visitors. Croatia is not commercial like so many destinations these days. In the Split/Trogir area, explore, and you will find!
