Pucisca (pronounced “Pooch-its-za”!) is a pretty bay near to Povlja Bay and between the two there are beautiful long inlets which are gorgeous to explore by boat. Especially attractive is the bay of Luka which is a beautiful cove and has 5 well protected beaches.

The bay of Pucisca itself has a beach, a selection of restaurants and Konoba (domestic restaurant serving local produce and cuisne) and cafe bars, pizzerias, a bakery, cake shop, a fish market, a couple of hotels, library and a church! And a stone mason’s school! So everything you’d need really. The area is famous for its brilliant white stone (Brac stone was used to buld the White House in Washingto USA and many other buildings since renaissance times) and so the stone here is incrediby beautiful. The wider area of Pucisca is great for cycling and the area has some good tracks to follow.
