PULA ROMAN AMPHITEATRE
Still used often today for events, the Roman arena in Pula is an impressive sight and really gives you an impression of what it might have been like back in the Roman times when it was used to stage gladiator fights – it has been remarkably well maintained and you can go on an official tour or just pay to enter and look around yourself.
