Puntinak, Sumartin Bay – the Exclusive Beach Villa Location
For an idyllic luxury villa hideaway, Sumartin beaches, Brac Island are just the ticket. Surrounded by the turquoise sea, Sumartin Bay is a beautiful location, nestled on one end of Brac Island. But next to Sumartin Town itself there is a pretty little area called Puntinak which is home to some of the most exclusive villas on the island.
Laid back and very pretty, Puntinak is made up of little coves and pretty beaches. With fabulous views across to Mount Biokovo on the mainland, the setting is incredible. You don’t have to move far for a beach..
Puntinak Beaches
Plaza Prva Vala (literally translated: the first beach bay) sits just down some steps below Villa Mirela, Villa Godistar. It’s just along from Villa Tika (approx 180 m) in one direction and around a 6 minute walk from Villa Panorama (approx 500 m) and Villa Oceanfront. It’s the perfect escape for relaxing and getting away from it all…
Puntinak is it’s own little escape.. Head on round to the Kartolina Beach Bar for a fabulous views of Sumartin town and the peaks of Makarska as its backdrop. Perfect for a drink and a bite to eat whilst watching the beach below! And there’s the Escalero Cocktail Bar for a sundowner later on before dinner at Restaurant Bilin. Slightly closer round to Sumartin Town, at around 15 minutes walk, here you will find one of our favourites, Villa Sinatra, set just back from the sea with beautiful sea views. Just in front are the ultimate sea edge luxury Brac villa boltholes of Villa Mila and Villa Oceana.
