Renaissance Festival
22nd – 25th August, Koprovnika:
Just north of Zagreb is Koprovnika, where a special festival is held each year celebrating all things Medieval. Based around the site of a magnificent fortress, built to repel Turkish invaders, it has everything from Knights and Musketeers to Crafts and Produce. Visitors will be able to watch scenes from medieval life, enjoy music and dance from 10 European countries as well as sampling dishes from local game to Croatian mead and ale.
