Sibenik is a wonderful old town and although much less well know than other old towns on the Dalmatian coast it is well worth seeing – about an hours drive from Trogir, its beautiful buildings will interest those who love to sight-see and are interested in architecture. Among others which date back to Venetian times, Sibenik’s cathedral dates back to 1434 to the Renaissance period and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are also many beautiful islands off its coast.
