The Golden Lion
Every year at the end of June, the streets of Umag, celebrate the festival of the Golden Lion and become the stage to numerous theatre groups from all over Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Italy etc.
This colourful multicultural festival covers all kinds of media with numerous writers, directors, set designers and choreographers working together with actors collaborating in ten days of exciting productions.
