ZADAR SEA ORGAN

The Zadar Sea Organ is a natural musical instrument whose “music” is played by the sea

The waves flow underneath the marble steps and push air through some 35 tubes creating musical chords depending on the size and speed of the waves – Many people come to take a look and listen to the random music produced – this is also a spectacular spot for watching the sunset!

Dugi Otok (Long Island) is full of untouched nature and one island to go for if you want to experience what the Zadar islands are like

DUGI OTOK

Sakarun Beach is one of the most beautiful islands in the area and on Dugi Otok so it can get busy although doesn’t tend to be so much if you get there early – It’s certainly worth a visit for its tantalisingly clear turquoise water – There is also the beautiful location of Veli Rat Lighthouse – a more “rocky beach” but fun to climb the lighthouse and soak up the setting.
