Trsteno Beach isn’t a beach as such but it’s a stunning place to swim, dive off and sunbathe – it’s just gorgeous! At the bottome of the Arboretum which is a rich collection of plants and trees from far and wide, you find yourself at a freshwater grotto which opens out into the crystal clear sea in a wonderfully pretty little old harbour. Make sure you take a snack and water as there are no cafe’s or facilities, it’s just a beautiful place to be in and get away from it all for a couple of hours. The exotic Arboretum combined with the colours and the crickets are just heavenly. Once you have built up your appetite with swimming and jumping in the sea, there’s lunch or dinner to be had at Restaurant Konoba Canossa once you are back at the top!
