Villa Barbara is a stunning modern villa with heated pool located on the outskirts of Pula, just 3km from the centre. It can accommodate up to ten people. It’s a beautiful and luxurious holiday home, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms and one separate WC.
One of the bedrooms is annexed with a separate entrance: it has a bedroom with air conditioning and SAT-TV, bathroom with WC and shower, a kitchen with a dining area and a living room, where two persons can be accommodated on a sofa bed. Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy the amazing heated outdoor pool which has a movable roof to maintain warmth on colder days.
Every part of the villa is designed for complete enjoyment; it is fully air-conditioned, and one room has access to a terrace with jacuzzi. The pool also has a special mist cooling system when the sun gets too hot to handle!

Pula, situated at the southeast end of the Istrian peninsula, has been in existence for three thousand years. It represents a very fine combination of the old and modern city where many famous writers and composers have found inspiration for their masterpieces. Many cultural and historical monuments dominate its panorama and provide the unique setting for various cultural and artistic events.
Tourist facilities are located outside the town in woods to the sea and beaches stretching along 190 kms of beautiful indented coast. There is also a railway so you could catch a train up the coast to beautiful Rovinj or Porec and have a lovely day out.
Public transport is good and it’s quite easy to catch a bus to nearby Medulin which is very popular as it not only has a sandy beach but a funfair that starts up each night at around 6pm. Or head into Pula there is usually a concert or something going on and there are countless restaurants to try Istria does like its food – it’s very like Tuscany with award winning wines , truffles and wild mushrooms – wild game is in abundance as well as a wide choice of fresh sea food.
For children there are aqua parks in abundance as well as adrenalin parks in the area – if you have smaller children there is also a fabulous new pizza restaurant – Peekaboo which is close to the Roman amphitheatre which is also a soft play venue great fun for everyone and the pizzas are really good and very reasonable priced which is a bonus .
The local green markets sell all kinds of fresh vegetables and fruits as well as local olive oils and honey. Butchers and Fishmongers are plentiful so you will never run out for BBQ supplies at your modern villa with heated pool.
