Description
A lovely 2-bedroom villa just over 2km from the sea at picturesque Sumartin Bay, Villa Blue was recently converted from two cottages and is already becoming a favourite with our smaller families and couples. Just right for Croatia family holidays, it’s tucked away just above Selca Village in a little residential street, it’s lovely and peaceful, but you can wander down to the shops and restaurants in a few minutes.
The two houses have been beautifully transformed into this modern well-equipped villa, compete with private pool.
Selca is a lovely traditional village just above the sea edge Sumartin with all its beaches and a good selection of restaurants. The village is also really close to the more exclusive Puntinac area beaches. It’s an interesting place and just great for Croatia family holidays. It has a really nice main street and picturesque church and a square with cafés and outdoor tables under the trees for shade. The square is formed around a little park with a sculpture trail.
Nearby, Sumartin has more restaurants and has a nice buzz about it and is has everything you need and there’s lots to explore in the vicinity – some great places to visit by boat too. You can hop to Makarska from the bay very easily which is another great place to visit and nice day trip (ferry from Sumartin itself) and Bol Town is nearby – about 30 mins in a taxi, with lots of bars and nightlife which is well worth a visit. There is also Mount Vidova Gora to climb with smashing views or plenty of other activities.
Boats can be rented in Sumartin – small ones and bigger boats with bigger engines, as can bikes, mopeds and quad bikes. These can be rented on arrival. The Villa Manager can go with you to rent the boat if you want some help. Electric bikes can be rented locally too.
