Description
Villa Capparis is a contemporary large villa with pool which sits in a fantastic location in beautiful Zaton Bay. Just wander down to the sea edge for a delectable selection of waterside eateries and a picture-perfect little harbour. A pretty beach is minutes away and ideal for relaxing and swimming.
The villa itself boasts an attractive pool area and garden next to it making it useful if you have children in your group. There’s even a badminton net if you are feeling the need for activity! There is a drinks station at the poolside with fridge, for making drinks and a great BBQ and alfresco dining area on the terrace outside the living room. The villa is well-equipped for Dubrovnik self catering holidays.
The interior is modern and very nicely done with 5 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (there’s also a WC outside for convenience).
The location is wonderful – Zaton is a picturesque and charming little village in a bay, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine and swimming in the sea. It has little pebbly beaches and swimming spots, and plenty of pine trees for shade – it’s really pleasant to walk along the shore or just to sit in one of the little sea-front restaurants sipping a glass of local wine! The sea in Zaton is a particularly vivid colour and Zaton was a favourite of the old Dubrovnik aristocratic families who used to holiday there.
The villa is also only 15 minutes’ drive from the ancient walled city of Dubrovnik so if you get bored of lounging around the pool or bathing in the sea, and having fresh fish BBQs then you can sightsee, shop or eat in the stunning old town or take a trip to one of the nearby islands. There are regular buses to the old town from the bus stop just up the road, and boat hire from the harbour. Apparently a favourite with families that have stayed here you can get a boat to take you out to Kolocep Island – which is lovely for a picnic , sandy beach – no cars allowed and the clearest water.

- On the 1st floor there are 3 bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Living room with sofa bed, and Balcony. 1 bathroom is en-suite.
- On the terraces there are 8 sun beds around the pool, and a bar fridge.
- The pool has a children’s section and there main pool also has massage jets.
- Above the pool is a lounge area under the olive trees, and there is also a garden with badminton court.
- In front of the living room there is large terrace with BBQ.
- The Kitchen is fully equipped with large refrigerator with freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, induction stove and ice machine, making Dubrovnik self catering holidays perfect at this villa.
- There are 2 Smart TV with Satellite channels.
- Please note that access to the upper floor is by an exterior staircase and separate entrance.

- Sea: 9 minutes’ walk down to the sea edge in the bay (approx. 550m)
- Beach: Zaton Beach is an 11 minute walk from the villa (approx. 650m)
- Shop: Village has a small supermarket and a bakery
- Restaurants: approximately 12 open from June – Sept (1 x is 600m away on the sea edge (approx. 10 minutes’ walk) – beautiful location!), 2 x open throughout the year within walking distance (more at the Sun Gardens resort)
- Bank: Dubrovnik but there is an ATM in the village

- Walking: lovely walks around the bay
