Description
Villa Delta is a stunning new villa perfect for friends or family, made up of 2 quality apartments sharing a pool is located near Podstrana Bay, 15 km from the centre of Split Old Town and 14 km from the town of Omis (rafting, canyoning…etc.) so it’s a great place to be based. The Podstrana coast has 9km of beaches so there are plenty of beaches in the vicinity for swimming and sunbathing.
Podstrana Bay is on the outskirts of Split. It is a great place to stay, away from the hustle bustle of Split, but close enough to make the most of the surrounding area – visit the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, take a wander around the medieval town of Trogir and the fishing villages nearby or even a day trip over to Hvar!
This stunning new villa boasts a private pool, stunning sea views over to Solta and Brac with enchanting sunsets, easy walking distance to the nearest stretch of beach (150m), but it’s far enough from other properties or roads so you can enjoy the privacy and the peace.
The villa has 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus separate WC, 2 fully equipped kitchens – dining rooms and living rooms. All rooms are fully air-conditioned. The large stone BBQ behind the villa is terrific for grilling some fresh fish from the nearby fish market, Mediterranean herbs and vegetables are available in the garden .
Generally you will find plenty to do if you get bored of lazing on the beach. There are walking paths, hiking and cycling trails, sightseeing the cultural and historical areas. You can walk 6 km along the coastal path with stretches of beach, restaurants and café bars.
There are always plenty of things to do in the Split area – visit the Krka Waterfalls & Sibenik, Boat trip to Hvar Island & Blue Caves of Vis Island, visit the Mostar Old Town & Bridge and also the Plitvice .
There are also various sports at the beach: windsurfing, sailing, sports catamarans and water skiing. ‘Le Meridien Lav’, a fairly new 5 * hotel complex is quite close to the villa and has more facilities on offer so it’s a good place to spend a day.
