Description
Villa Diamond is a beautiful and distinctive villa with pool set above gorgeous Brsecine beach on the Dubrovnik Riviera . It comprises of two separate buildings, one just a few steps above the other, both equally well appointed with all the bedrooms thoughtfully looking out to sea. Cooling stone, parquet flooring, pastel hues, wooden beams and attractive local artwork conjure a classic Mediterranean feel.
The buildings are equipped with modern furniture and are connected by the courtyard. There is a large outdoor swimming pool, a swing, see saw and sand pit, where children can play in the fresh air; there is also a sauna and fitness room as well as a billiard table.
Inside, the bedrooms and rooms have air conditioning and wifi.
Brsecine is small cove in the south of Dalmatia, with only about 100 inhabitants. Although Brsecine is little place in the Dubrovnik area, there are plenty of natural beauties and historical sights.
In Brsecine you can visit two small traditional Catholic churches, St George and St. Anne. St. Anne is a special place for residents of Brsecine as she is the patroness of the region.
Steps leading down to Brsecine’s pretty shingle beach are an 800 meters walk downhill from the villa (or 2 km by road), 5 minutes walking distance (or 2 minutes drive!).
Nearby Trsteno (2.8 km) has a restaurant and a famous arboretum, Orasac (6 km) has a supermarket and coastal Zaton (12 km) an appealing range of eating options. Or just head in to Dubrovnik – the old town has lots of options or Lapad & Gruz also have great value restaurants
Approximate distance to Dubrovnik is 18 km, and 32 km to the airport.
If you have an active family , there are lots of activities to try from sea kayaking around the islands, cycling on Mljet island , activity parks or head north to Slano and then on to the Peljesac Peninsula. for lunch, the water there is so clean and so clear it’s the perfect place to grow oyster’s and there are lots of little places to try them. The Peljesac is really pretty with wild beaches – it’s getting increasingly popular with free climbers and cyclists, there are vineyards and olive groves everywhere – if you head right up to the end at Orebic you can catch the ferry across to Korcula it’s only a short crossing so an easy day trip. Otherwise head for Viganj and Perna which are just outside Orebic – best in the afternoon when the wind picks up and the windsurfers come out – one of the best places to enjoy this sport hence many large competitions take place here.

We’ve just come back from a week’s stay at Villa Diamond and we loved it. The photos really don’t do justice to the villa and the space that you get. We were a group of 7 so the two buildings worked perfectly for us. There’s plenty of space in both buildings and the outside space is amazing.
We had a few bbqs whilst there and made good use of the pool area although we did also get out and about. There are some lovely beaches very close by and it’s worth visiting Lopod Island which you can see from the villa.
The owners were incredibly helpful, they were happy to meet us slightly earlier than the check in time and told us where there were some nice beaches to go to and that a mobile bakery comes around at 8.00a.m.

The accommodation is comfortable and well appointed, over two villas, with a stunning pool area, gym, terrace and roof terrace. The BBQ is fantastic, and we made full use of both this, and the vegetable and fruit gardens. We really can’t fault the villa and couldn’t make any recommendations to make it better. Sam June 2018
