Villa Doriana is a popular family villa with pool just minutes from the sea on the beautiful island of Ciovo – brilliant for diving and snorkelling off the rocks nearby, or there is a pleasant and quiet beach just 10 minutes walk away.
Description
Villa Doriana is a popular family villa with pool set on the quiet side of Okrug a lovely little bay where you will find the Trogir Diving Centre. The sea is particularly clear in this bay so great if you and your family like diving or snorkelling. There is also a little family beach further along – only about a 10 minute walk along the sea path. The villa will accommodate up to 6 in total with two double bedrooms and 2 singles. Very well equipped and recently updated it’s still one of our most popular family villas with pool, terraces to enjoy the sunset and a peaceful residential spot, but with Cocobana beach within a 20 minute walk or call an Uber! when you want more excitement and water sports etc , the kids will love the new aqua parks floating in the shallows .
Ciovo is an island connected to Trogir by a bridge and it is beautiful because it has its own little fishing villages and things to do on the island, but it’s perfectly placed to explore wider afield with water taxis to Trogir Old Town. The transfer from the airport is only 15-20 minutes as the airport sits between Split Town and Ciovo Island.
There’s plenty of space to laze about on the balcony and the lovely pool terrace or in the covered terrace downstairs – or just wander down on to the beach and be amazed at the beautiful calm, clear, lapping water…
There are some incredibly picturesque turquoise coves and pretty walks on the Ciovo island if you want to get away from it all but the main beach in the area is just a short stroll from the villa and if you’re hungry, the village and little marina are only a 10 minute walk where you’ll find supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The icing on the cake is that the villa is just 5-10 minutes drive from the medieval town and Unesco Heritage site of Trogir – it is reputedly the most picturesque town on the Dalmatian Coast and has a pretty harbour, marina, beautiful buildings and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops.
There is lots to do in area of Split and Trogir : Speed boat to Hvar Island & Pakleni Islands, Boat trip to Vis Island’s blue & green cave, discover the Plitvice lakes, visit the Beautiful Old Town Mostar or Dubrovnik Old Town.

Sorry for the delay in replying. We had a lovely holiday thanks and the weather was very hot!
… The Villa was also quite a long way from the resort but we discovered plenty of restaurants etc to keep us happy.
We had a lovely Peka (booked the day before) at Renato restaurant.
….. A welcome pack would have been very useful detailing the location of things, especially as we were in a residential area with no clear direction to go.
The pool was wonderful and our girls enjoyed it immensely.

Just back from our lovely holiday. I just wanted to thank you for all your help in choosing the villa and adding us on things to do. We had a lovely time and really liked the villa. It was clean and well equipped and the outside space was great. Nice to be so near the sea too! When we left the villa we got the ferry (with our car) to Korcula which we all enjoyed and then flew back from Dubrovnik. Great holiday – we will recommend you!

Yes thank you we had a lovely holiday. Villa Doriana was essentially without fault. Well equipped and comfortable, the pool being the highlight especially as the owners had left a couple of large inflatable rings for our use.
