They will love to relax by the pool, wander down to the sea for a dip, stroll along to the restaurants, or employ cooking skills on the pool-side BBQ. The pool-side terrace will be where they will spend most of their day when at the villa. They will also appreciate the daily cleaning regime.
They will be charmed by Villa Godi Star‘s host, who is happy to cook lovely meals for them, or whisk them off in his boat to hidden coves or out of reach restaurants.

Great location
Villa Godi Star is in the Puntinak part of Sumartin at the western end of the island, closest to the mainland. Virtually sea edge, you can swim some 30m below the villa from the beach or a bathing platform. It has fabulous sea views.
Puntinak is a lovely area across from Sumartin town in Sumartin bay. It is formed by a cluster of houses and villa rentals and is well served by a couple of local restaurants and a beach bar, all with good reviews. There are a few beaches to stroll to, and more around the bay towards Sumartin and in the town itself. In terms of beaches in Croatia, you are so well served. You can hire electric bikes just along the lane and jet skis too.
Sumartin is an easy walk around the bay. It has a good selection of restaurants and café bars, and a small supermarket for your everyday needs. You can hire boats, kayaks, bikes, mopeds here.
Selca is a delightful village just above the town, where you will find a post office, GP, pharmacy, more food shops. You’ll also find restaurants and cafes around the delightful village square with its sculpture park.
There is lots to do in the vicinity of this Croatia holiday villa. Climb (or get a lift!) to the top of Vidova Gora. The island’s highest peak has a fabulous view of Zlatni Rat Beach which is in Bol Town. Take a trip to lively Bol and visit the famous beach, perhaps to try some windsurfing? Your host can take you to Hvar Island for a visit – stay for lunch, have a swim…You can take the short ferry trip from Sumartin to Makarska on the mainland too.
Villa amenities
Villa Godi Star has 5 double bedrooms, 4 are en-suite and the other has an attached bathroom. Two of the larger bedrooms also have a single sofa bed, meaning that the villa can accommodate up to 12 guests.
The pool can be heated, and the sociable pool-side terrace will be where you spend most of your day and evenings when at the villa. It is the perfect lounging and alfresco dining area. There is a great built-in BBQ and mini kitchen area, so no traipsing in and out of the villa for the cook. When you feel the need to work off some calories, you can take to the treadmill or stepper machine whilst taking in the view! This Croatian villa is brilliant in so many ways.
There are bicycles at the villa to use and private parking for a car. The host has a transit van for hire if so wished, plus he can whisk you away to explore other islands on his boat.
Availability
Free peak holiday weeks at Villa Godi Star are currently 13th – 29th July 2023. One week in June is also still free (17th – 25th).
And finally, how to get there
The nearest airport is Split, although you could fly into Zadar and drive down. Whilst there is an airport on Brac, it is not served by scheduled flights. If you fly into Dubrovnik you can get a catamaran from Dubrovnik’s Gruz Port, to Bol or Milna on Brac. Another option is to drive up to Makarska (2 hr 40 minutes) and get the ferry over to Sumartin.
It is a 50-minute ferry hop from Split old town to Supetar on Brac. From there it’s a 45-minute taxi ride to the villa (the villa host can provide a transfer from the port). Alternatively, get to your villa sooner by way of a private boat transfer directly from the airport jetty to Sumartin. We can help you organise this.
