Villa Jadranka is a charming villa with pool located overlooking the picturesque little village of Orasac – this part of the coast is perfect for relaxing in the sunshine, swimming in the sea or sitting in one of the little sea-front restaurants.
Description
Villa Jadranka has gorgeous views of the beautiful, calm bay of Orasac and is perfectly placed for whiling away the days on the sun terrace or for heading down to one of the beaches below… This charming villa with pool comprises a 3 bedroom apartment on the lower floor, with a beautiful balcony looking out over the bay. The villa also has the benefit of a pool to cool you down on hot summer days. A large terrace provides perfect alfresco dining and should you wish for some diversion, the Sun Gardens Resort in Orasac is just down below in the bay with pools and restaurants and Spa facilities.
The location is wonderful – Orasac is a picturesque and charming little village in a bay, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine and swimming in the sea. It has little pebbly beaches and swimming spots, and plenty of pine trees for shade – it’s really pleasant to walk along the shore or just to sit in one of the little sea-front restaurants sipping a glass of local wine!
This charming villa with pool is also only 20 minutes drive from the ancient walled city of Dubrovnik so if you get bored of lounging around the pool or bathing in the sea, and having fresh fish BBQs then you can sight-see, shop or eat in the stunning old town.
Or take a trip to one of the nearby islands like Kolocep with its lovely sandy beach – no cars allowed, so great place for younger ones to run amok and let off some steam also a great place for a picnic.
Further up the coast is lovely Trsteno with its beautiful Arboretum, the bay is instantly recognisable as Kings Landing in Game of Thrones – very popular place to get married. A few miles further north is lovely Slano Bay with it’s new Marina – the beaches around this part of the coast are quite gently shelving so really popular with families who can let their kids play happily in the shallow waters.
Dubrovnik is the most well known destination on the Dubrovnik Riviera with its famous medieval walled town, but there are many other beautiful and interesting places worth a visit like Zaton – approx 5 minutes from the villa, Cavtat, Konavle, Mlini on the other side of Dubrovnik, and the wonderful Elaphiti islands of Kolocep and Lopud. The wine region of the Peljesac Peninsula is also on your doorstep here along with the Islands of Korcula and Mljet… Great food, stunning views and wonderful sea-side locations and beaches – this is a real gem…
The classy Sun Gardens Resort in Orasac is just below the villa and well worth a visit. It has restaurants, cafe’s and spa facilities and beach with water sports (jet ski’s, banana rides etc). (Please contact the resort directly regarding use of facilities for availability and prices).
