Villa Juniper is a gorgeous contemporary villa with heated pool just 900m from the sea in the beautiful, calm bay of Orasac – this luxury villa has four double bedrooms all en-suite, each with its own private balcony, and a large terrace provides perfect alfresco dining next to the solar heated pool.
Description
This gorgeous contemporary villa with heated pool is situated on a plot of 1.000 sq meters, enclosed by fragrant Mediterranean gardens and a tucked-away terrace lounge with a barbecue and heated pool. The ground floor has an open-concept kitchen, dining and living area and the upper level with four bedrooms comprise 300 sq meters of interior space and comes topped with a rooftop terrace. Eight guests can enjoy staying at this private villa, and 4 more can be accommodated on pull-out sofas.
You enter the villa from the east, either through the main door or directly from the private garage with parking for two vehicles. As you step into the entrance foyer with an open ceiling, the front and the back of the house are to your left and right.
Support rooms (storage, boiler, laundry, and toilette) are all at the back so that the front relishes inspiring views. Bathing in daylight, this common space is centred on a fine wooden dining table seating up to 12 guests. To the left, a modern kitchen with top-notch appliances enables you to enjoy a completely self-sustainable stay, but also a drop-in visit by a private chef. The spacious living area is on the right.
The ground floor interior seamlessly transitions into a private terrace and pool area west of the house. An alluring alternative to the lively local beaches, the heated, 9×5-meter pool features a unique black and white tiling design.
The central staircase in the entrance foyer leads up to the first floor with four double bedrooms. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony. With high ceilings and voluminous space, these rooms feel grand and make it easy to accommodate extra guests on pull-out sofas. Front rooms benefit from stunning sea views, while the side ones have beautiful views to the village and the hills . Each room comes equipped with Wi-Fi and Sat TV.
To top it all off, walk up to the open-air terrace on the roof of the villa to find yourself immersed in breath-taking panoramas. Come up to enjoy the views, perhaps a quiet moment, but certainly to get a 360-degree perspective on things.
To make sure you enjoy every moment of your stay, the Villa Manager will welcome you upon arrival to the villa, as well as remain at your disposal for anything you may want during your stay. Whether it is transfers, private excursions, private chefs or event tickets, it’s all just a phone call away.
Should you wish for some diversion, the Sun Gardens Radisson Blu resort is just a short drive away in the bay with pools and restaurants and Spa facilities.
The location is wonderful – Orasac Bay is a picturesque and charming little village in a bay, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine and swimming in the sea. It has little pebbly beaches and swimming spots, and plenty of pine trees for shade – it’s really pleasant to walk along the shore or just to sit in one of the little sea-front restaurants sipping a glass of local wine!
A short drive up the coast is the beautiful Trsteno Arboretum, with it’s stunning gardens – you will probably recognize he location as it’s often used in Game of Thrones as the location for Kings Landing.
The villa is also only 20 minutes drive from the ancient walled city of Dubrovnik so if you get bored of lounging around the pool or bathing in the sea, and having fresh fish BBQs then you can sightsee, shop or eat in the stunning old town or take a trip to one of the near by islands.
Dubrovnik is the most well known destination on the Dubrovnik Riviera with its famous medieval walled town, but there are many other beautiful and interesting places worth a visit like Zaton bay – approx. 5 minutes drive from the villa – Cavtat Bay & Mlini Bay on the other side of Dubrovnik, and the wonderful Elaphiti islands of Kolocep and Lopud & Sipan
The wine region of the Peljesac Peninsula is also on your doorstep here with its beautiful wild beaches and fab seafood restaurants – head up to Ston for the oyster beds and fab mussels. Great food, stunning views and wonderful sea-side locations and beaches – this is a real gem…
