Description
This Croatia beach villa near Split is accessed from a private road, is just meters from the beach and Okrug Marina beach. It can be rented together with its neighbour, Villa Seraphine, for a large family or separately. Villa Moonstone is in the first line to the sea and Villa Seraphine is just behind it.
Villa Moonstone is on Island Ciovo in a place called Okrug Gornji, just short drive from the beautiful medieval town of Trogir (under UNESCO heritage). There are some really nice restaurants and shops, so everything is close by this Croatia beach villa near Split. Check out, for example, Konoba Duga which is a short drive from Okrug Gornji – it’s an idyllic place. Trogir old town is beautiful – really atmospheric and like going back in time with little cafes in the pretty winding streets. Okrug Gornji is Ciovo’s main beach resort with a good selection of bars and restaurants serving , steaks, pizza, a range of great coffees, soft & alcoholic drinks.
This Croatia beach villa near Split has 6 bedrooms including four doubles with en-suites, 1 x double with en-suite and balcony, and one single, so sleeps 11 people, as well as having an outdoor pool and an indoor pool /sauna/gym area (Note: the indoor pool is closed 1st June – 1st September). The villa is over 4 levels. The lowest is the wellness area with indoor pool, gym, games room and sauna. Stairs up to the pool level with the living room, kitchen/diner, WC plus 2 x double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. From there are stairs up to 2 x double bedrooms and 1 x single bedroom, 3 x bathrooms and a terrace. The uppermost level has a double bedroom and bathroom.
The small access road to the villa is not public and as the villa is well away from through routes, few non-residents find their way to the beach, meaning that it remains quiet. Conveniently, there’s a level path directly along the water’s edge to local shops, restaurants and the water taxi to Trogir.
The UNESCO Heritage site of Trogir is just 3.5km away with restaurants and shops and a beautiful fruit and vegetable market. Book some Excursions and activities from Trogir or Split to help your holiday go with a swing: Boat trip to Vis Island’s blue and green cave, Mostar and Medugorje day trip, explore the Dubrovnik Old Town, or visit Hvar Island and Pakleni Island, etc.
