Villa Nova Kuca is a beautiful stone Brac family villa set in a large Mediterranean garden – there is a gated pool, and even a playground in the garden but the sea & beaches are just a few minutes’ walk away.
Description
Villa Nova Kuca is a lovely Brac family villa situated in the west part of the picturesque village of Sumartin on the island of Brac. It is a traditional Dalmatian stone house, furnished with authentic period furniture.
This Brac family villa is really charming and can accommodate 8 to 10 people comfortably. On the ground floor there is a kitchen / dining room / sitting room area, a separate wc, one bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a beautiful garden with Mediterranean vegetation, a garden terrace with a gated pool).
The upper floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies and a furnished large terrace with stunning sea views (the villa is made up of two separate floors – stairs to upper floor are external – separate entrances). There are also two single extra beds in the bedrooms.
Sumartin Bay has some lovely bays, beaches and coves. There are some nice restaurants here too for a change along with coffee shops and boats to rent. The sea side town of Bol, famous for its stunning Zlatni rat beach is close by – lovely to spend the day away from your Brac family villa in its old town and explore its beaches…
If you want more activity, make the most of a superb boat trips to Hvar Island and Hvar Town – definitely recommended.
Brac Island – this gorgeous island is the largest in central Dalmatia. Brac Island has craggy shores and hidden beaches, but also boasts wonderful beaches, such as Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn), considered by many the most beautiful beach on the Adriatic, is close to Bol, at the foot of Vidova Gora. The beach is a natural phenomenon and according to the movement of the wind and waves, its tip moves to the left or right.
Zlatni Rat is one of the best Adriatic wind-surfing locations. A free-style competition, which has become part of local tradition, is held here every year and now forms part of the official World Cup calendar.

The villa was lovely and the lady who let us in – Angela – was extremely helpful- picking us up from the port and taking our luggage up in her car. She suggested we want to the Konoba Top restaurant which we returned to later in the week as it was very good.
