Villa Plava is a stunning well equipped modern villa – arranged as two apartments, sharing a pool, it has the most wonderful views to the sea and is perfectly situated just 320m from the beach – it’s also disabled friendly.
Description
Villa Plava is an extremely well equipped modern villa with stunning sea views. It’s on the hill overlooking beautiful Podstrana Bay 15 km south of Split and 14 km from Omis Town (rafting etc) – it has a lovely heated pool and terraces and gardens to relax with your family.
This well equipped modern villa has an underground floor with a gymnasium with A/C and cable TV and WC.
On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms, a WC and a kitchen / dining room with an entertainment area. The first bedroom with Internet connection, A/C unit and 1 remote controller for external blinds has a mattress sized 200 cm x 210cm and it is connected with a bathroom with shower (120 cm x 90 cm), bidet, washbasin, WC and a hair dryer.
The second bedroom has 3 single beds (120 cm x 210 cm). This room with Internet connection, A/C unit, 2 remote controllers for external blinds can accommodate a disabled person in wheelchair with a caretaker (all by International standards with basic equipment to be installed on request). The en suite bathroom has a shower (120 cm x 90 cm), a bathtub, a bidet, a washbasin, a WC and a hair dryer.
On the ground floor are also a toilet / utility area with washbasin, WC, washing machine and a tumble dryer. The kitchen / dining room / entertainment area has a billiard table, darts, 2 A/C units, cable TV, PlayStation3®, and exit to 2 garden terraces (one of them of 36m2 and the other of 120 m2 with a heated swimming pool).
The first floor comprises 2 double bedrooms with 2 en suite bathrooms, a toilet / utility area and a kitchen / dining room / sitting room area. One double bedroom with Internet connection, A/C unit and 1 remote controller for external blinds has a mattress sized 200 cm x 210 cm and it is connected to a bathroom with shower (120 cm x 90 cm), bidet, washbasin, WC and a hair dryer. The other double bedroom has the same equipment and a bathroom with an additional bath. The toilet / utility area on the first floor has a washbasin, a WC, a washing machine, an iron, a cot and high chair for kids under 5 years of age. The kitchen / dining room / sitting room area has a cable TV, 2 A/C units and an exit to 2 balconies.
The outdoor area has a heated swimming pool (9.0m x 4.0m x 1.4m) with jets for anti current swimming and an entrance with rail to help disabled people. The cleaning is fully automatic. There is an outdoor shower, garden furniture, sun beds, table tennis, outdoor fireplace and private car parking.
Podstrana Bay is a little place on the outskirts of the famous old town of Split stretching along a pretty coastline and beaches. It is a friendly area and a lovely place to stay away from the hustle bustle of Split, but close enough to visit all that the surrounding area has to offer – visit the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, take a wander around the medieval town of Trogir and the fishing villages nearby or even a day trip over to Hvar!In Podstrana Bay itself you will find plenty to do if you get bored of lazing on it’s beautiful beaches. There are walking paths, hiking and cycling trails, sightseeing the cultural and historical areas. You can walk 6 km along the coastal path passing beautiful beaches, restaurants and café bars. The nearest night club and casino is 2.7 km while the nearest golf facility (4-6 holes) is 4.3 km away. From Podstrana Bay you can travel by car to Krka National Park with the coastal towns Omis,Trogir, Baska Voda and Makarska less than an hour away.
There are also various sports at the beach: windsurfing, sailing, sports catamarans and water skiing. ‘Le Meridien Lav’, a fairly new 5 * hotel complex is quite close to the villa; this offers more facilities.
Podstrana Bay itself has everything that is necessary for your convenience – ATM, shops, restaurants etc. There is lots to do in area of Split : Speed boat to Hvar Island , Boat trip to Vis Island’s blue & green cave, discover the Plitvice lakes, visit the Beautiful Old Town Mostar or Dubrovnik Old Town.
There is also a bus stop about 150m from the house so if you would prefer not to hire a car then hop on a bus and explore the area that way! There are frequent buses to Split town centre where you can wander along the beautiful Riva and through the winding old town streets and markets before returning to your lovely well equipped modern villa to relax with a glass of local wine.
