If you are looking for flexible accommodation with pool near Split, have a look at Villa Royal which sleeps up to 12 over 3 apartments – great if you want some privacy from the rest of your party.

Description

Villa Royal is a flexible accommodation with pool sleeping up to 12 people over three apartments. The villa is located on the lovely island of Ciovo, directly connected by a bridge to the mainland and the historic town of Trogir, an UNESCO World Heritage site. A leisurely stroll, or a water taxi will bring you into Trogir town centre so you can enjoy the many restaurants, ice cream parlours and the famous daily fruit market.

On the Ground Floor is a 1 bedroom apartment (with an adjustable sofa bed in the living room, so can sleep up to 4 guests) and on the First Floor level there are two x 2 bedroom apartments.

The property is very secluded and not overlooked by other villas. The owners do live at the basement level, but are very accommodating and are only there for maintenance of the pool & grounds and of course if you need any advice on days out restaurants etc.

Not far from the villa are beautiful large, gently sloping, pebble beaches lined with beach bars, restaurants and playgrounds, all open till late. The beach is a perfect gathering point for families and teenagers. With plenty of activities for all ages from aqua parks to banana boat rides. Here you can also catch the ferry across to Split old Town and spend the day wandering around its beautiful old streets and markets before heading back to your flexible family accommodation with pool and firing up the BBQ. Or head for Mavarsica beach which is quiet and more laid back – the water is deeper here and really clear so its very popular with divers and great for snorkelling.

For a different day out hop on the water taxi to the lovely little bay of Konoba duga with its little beach and family Konoba serving delicious grilled fish and meats, a really pleasant spot to spend the day.

A great excursion is to head off on one of the many trips available (or drive) to the breath-taking Krka waterfalls just an hour north – swim under the lower waterfall and then stop at the lovely old town of Sibenik on the way home to your lovely adaptable accommodation with private pool for some delicious ice cream. The area has some lovely restaurants and most are very reasonably priced. Very popular with children as the cuisine is very Italian with plenty of pasta, pizza and of course delicious Italian ice cream in whatever flavours you can imagine.
