Villa Scarlett is a peaceful little villa with pool tucked away in a residential area of Pula, only 2km from the centre and Pula Arena so very convenient for families wanting to be near everything and a great base for exploring the area.
Description
Villa Scarlett is a lovely peaceful little villa with pool so close to the centre of Pula and all its delights. The villa is set in a really nice residential area so very suitable for families who like their peace & quiet but don’t always want to drive.
There are two double bedrooms and a twin inside, with 2 bathrooms – one with a shower and one with a bath. Downstairs is a lovely open plan living/dining/kitchen area leading out on to the new covered terrace / BBQ area with pool (roman steps) 9 x 4m. There is plenty of room for eating al-fresco and sunbathing as well as a lawn area around the front of the property with a little mini football spot.
Conveniently, the bus stop to take you into Pula is just 200m away. For water sports just head for the beach, nearest family beach is 5km or head into Medulin ( 7km) for a big sandy beach and the funfair which comes alive every night. There is a shop nearby for your everyday needs but for more facilities the town centre is just 2 km away with a big green market full of fresh local produce and the port/sea is just 4km.
Pula is a great location and can offer everything from a Segway tour of the old town and Roman battles to the lovely new Aquarium & Marina to explore. There are loads of beaches and loads of restaurants to try in this area. Aqua parks for the children can also be found on most of the beaches – head inland too for a change – the scenery is very like Tuscany with rolling hills, olive groves and vineyards. Here you will find wild truffles and mushrooms as well as local game, and of course award winning wines to surprise your taste buds.

Bike hire is also popular in this area – there are miles upon miles of cycle tracks, which is great way to explore the coast and tire out the children – why not stop for a simple lunch at a local konoba where the price of food is very reasonable and the children love it as much is based on Italian food so lots of Pizza and Pasta and of course the ice cream, which is delicious and comes in so many flavours, it’s hard to choose. If you have very small children there is a new fun pizza restaurant near the Arena called Peekaboo – huge tasty and very cheap pizzas combined with a soft play area for under sevens.
This lovely peaceful little villa with pool is sure to tick all the right boxes for your first visit to Istria.
