Description
Villa Silvia is the most charming villa near Makarska at Baska Voda; it will accommodate up to 8 people comfortably. The villa is equipped with everything you might need & the interior and grounds have been tastefully designed. A small 60 m road connects the house with the public beach so it’s easy to go for a swim or visit the beach at any time of the day! It’s also easy to get around without a car the nearest bus stop only 300 metres away.
On the ground floor of this Baska Voda villa near Makarska comprises of a kitchen / dining / sitting room area, a double bedroom (bed size 140 x 190 cm), a separate WC, and a small gym area (with an exercise bike and a sit-up bench).
The first floor comprises of two double bedrooms, two single bedrooms, and two bathrooms (one with a shower (size 80 x 80 cm) and one with a bath (size 100 x 55 cm)). One of the double bedrooms is a master bedroom, with a double bed (size 160 x 190 cm), en suite bathroom (with a shower), a safe deposit box, and an exit to a covered balcony with a beautiful sea view. The other double bedroom has a bed size 140 x 190 cm, while beds in the single bedrooms are size 90 x 200 cm and 90 x 190 cm respectively. Every bedroom on the first floor has a sea view.
Outside a large garden contains 2 garden terraces and an outdoor swimming pool.
The villa has been partially air conditioned. The villa has been equipped with 5 A/C units in total. All 3 double bedrooms are equipped with one unit each, while the other two units are located in the kitchen area on the ground floor, and in the hall on the first floor respectively
The villa is reachable by a vehicle, but the town centre and useful amenities such as a bakery, a post office, a café, and a pharmacy, are within a walking distance thanks to small steps which lead to the centre. Furthermore, the sea is only 160 meters away by using these steps.
Baska Voda has one of the most popular beaches in the area (blue flag), it is very pretty and vibrant during the peak season months, with numerous water sports available but there is lots to do in the area of this villa near Makarska, apart from just beaches…
Hiking is available in the nearby mountains and of course the proximity of the Cetina River will give you a taste for adventure with canyoning and white water rafting readily available . For the foodies amongst you, the seafood is exceptional and the nearby villages of Bast and Topica are well known for their Artisan Cheese, Bread and Prosciutto.
Split is also easily reached and the Unesco Heritage site of Trogir is just a little further north and worth a day trip to explore its narrow cobbled streets with pizzeria and the most wonderful ice creams, fan hour further north, a visit to the amazing Krka waterfalls is a must, and its central position means that the islands of Hvar and Barc are also within easy reach.
And of course Makarska, which is larger and busier than Baska Voda, is just 9km to the South (you can catch the little car ferry here to get over to Brac Island for the day – Sumartin is where the ferry comes in and it’s a gorgeous little place!). Just a little to the North of Baska Voda is the lovely bay of Brela, another stunning location to spend your day!
