Villa Sweet is a lovely modern four bedroom villa with sea views, set in the unspoilt region of Eastern Istria, yet just a 5 minute drive to the beach.
Description
The villa offers beautiful sea views across to the Island of Cres and can accommodate up to 9 people.
Guests enter the villa where there is a light and contemporary living and dining area which opens into the kitchen. Patio doors lead out onto the attractive terrace and pool area. There is also a twin bedroom and shower room on the ground floor.
The first floor features three double bedrooms and two bathrooms; all the bedrooms on the first floor have balconies overlooking the pool area and beautiful sea views .
Guests staying here will appreciate the lovely country setting and peaceful surroundings. Within 15 minutes’ drive of the villa is a popular fish restaurant called ‘Martin Pescador’ in the village of Trget. Located on the waterfront, the fish is served fresh daily with friendly service and at reasonable prices.
In Labin you will find a supermarket, restaurants and some wonderful architecture, then have a drive down the hill to Rabac right on the coast where there are beautiful beaches like Girandella, café bars and sport facilities and excursions across to the gorgeous island of Cres perfect for dolphin spotting.
About an hour’s drive up the coast is the glamorous town of Opatija, which reigned supreme during the Austro-Hungarian empire and also used to draw European Royalty. The buildings are grand and opulent and there are a lot of health/spa options – really long promenade ( 12km) and loads of restaurants to try. Excellent entertainment programme through the season from Jazz festivals to Opera and theatre productions.
