Villa to rent in Croatia? Split and Trogir will suit all…

By Croatia Gems, 3rd February 2024

A holiday to Trogir and the Split Riviera is a delight to the senses. There are so many things to see and do and so much coastline but the best thing is the variety. This area suits all ages and tastes…

Invigorate your senses with a villa to rent in Croatia on the Trogir rivera

Trogir, with its winding streets, coffee shops, bars and superb local a-capella “Klappa” singers, makes it a haven for soaking up the atmosphere. For all your BBQ needs, there is a wonderful open air fruit and vegetable market  local olive oil, a bustling local fish market and butcher. And if you want to get anywhere fast, hop on a water taxi to explore the fabulous coastline, bays and beaches. Whether it’s activity beaches for short attention spans you are after (kayaks, para-sailing, jet-skiing, banana rides, tennis etc) or unspoilt, off-the-beaten-track turquoise coves, the Trogir riviera ticks all boxes… Croatia isn’t commercialised, so our top tip is to ask the locals for what you are looking for and they will point you in the right direction. It’s not always obvious but that’s the best bit! Explore and you shall find!

If you fancy a day trip or two, there are plenty of options with vibrant Split or stunning national parks like the Plitvice Lakes and Krka Waterfalls. Maybe a trip to one of the  famous towns such as Dubrovnik or Mostar with its renowned and beautiful old bridge. Or if you like island hopping, why not take a small group excursion and speedboat to Hvar and Vis. Make sure you take an evening walking tour of Trogir before dinner to wind down and soak up the Roman and Venetian history and architecture. What a simply wonderful place…

Larger villas

This sea edge villa in Croatia with pool in Trogir will sleep 12 – Palm Tree Villa sells out fast each year, with its location close to Trogir and a water taxi, contemporary styling and super host. Or sleeping 11, Villa Moonstone is at another sea edge villa.

If you need more space, Villa Nouveau has 7 bedrooms and is just by sandy Saldun beach and is walkable to stunning Trogir and lively Okrug Gornji. Or take one of the five sea edge Cinquento villas close to the water taxi at Slatine harbour. This little complex also has 2 and 3-bedroom apartments that you can rent out if you need more bed spaces. Alternatively, just up the coast in Vinisce, new Villa Talia has beds for 15.

Or if you need a small family holiday in Croatia, consider Villa Marissa, Villa Doriana or Villa Pearl, all equally well located and worthy contenders for your villa to rent in Croatia.

Need a 4 bedroom Split villa? Although we do have others, for starters have a look at Villa Angela or Villa Olivine – both great locations. Villa Aqua is a luxury 5-bedroom villa at the sea edge at Seget Vranjica, just a water taxi-hop to Trogir.

Feel free to search through our villas. If you don’t find what you want there, do have a look at our ‘By Request only’ villa portfolio. Alternatively, just give us a call or email us and we’ll find a lovely Croatia villa for you.
