Villa Vincelo is tucked away just a short drive from the sea at Rovinj (6km) – a lovely 5 bedroom property with lots of room for a large family or group of friends.

A large walled modern villa with pool at the edge of the lovely village of Rovinjsko Selo, Villa Vincelo provides a comfortable and private base while being close to amenities and just a short drive to the sea, so perfect for a family holiday.
On the ground floor of this walled modern villa with pool is a spacious living room with access to the covered terrace, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. There is also a play room with billiards and darts, Outside the decked terrace has a good sized pool 6 x 4 m and table football and table tennis. The first floor of this walled modern villa with pool has five air conditioned bedrooms, three of which have their own balconies overlooking the pool.
The village is just a short walk and it now has a small supermarket, and a couple of café/bars and a really good pizza restaurant. beautiful Porec is just 22 miles away. The new water park (Aquacolours Water Park ) is just 20 miles away.
Thanks to the proximity of Rovinj and its beaches, a good road connection as well as more favourable accommodation, Rovinjsko Selo is becoming the first accommodation choice of an increasing number of tourists to Istria. It is also particularly attractive for cyclists and hikers, given its strategic location as a crossroads of many cycling tracks, perfect for mountain biking. Forest roads and paths connect the village with Lim bay (north), the ornithological reserve Palud (south) as well as with the centre of Rovinj.
Lim Fjord is a lovely day out, a beautiful long bay featuring oyster beds and where you can try seafood specialities in excellent restaurants like ‘Viking’ or ‘Fjord’. This area has a long history dating back to Paleolithic times and the film ‘the Vikings’ with Kirk Douglas, was filmed here.
Rovinj abounds with restaurants of all kinds: from pizzeria (try Roma in the very centre), to slow food restaurants – try the renowned restaurant ‘Monte’, near St Euphemia church will take you to the centre with a selection of shops and Rovinj and its surroundings offer many attractions for sightseeing: do not miss the opportunity to visit the Local Museum and Batana house, a museum dedicated to a unique boat which originated in Rovinj. Do not miss walking up to the St Euphemia church yard – from the belfry the views are superb and you can even see Venice on a sunny day. Also, it is worth talking a walk to Zlatni Rt (Golden Cape), a protected forest park with tall pine trees and beautiful pebble beaches. An old quarry there has been turned into a great free climbing centre.
The nearby town of Porec is wonderful with beautiful coastal scenery, lively narrow streets and a wonderful cultural history. The surrounding area offers lots to see and do, with the beautiful harbour towns of Novigrad, Vsar and the stunning Venetian town of Rovinj all within 45 mins drive.
You can also explore the wonderful mountain-top villages of Buje, Motovun, Buzet and Grosnan in the area known as the new Tuscany, or take a trip to Pula and visit the fantastically preserved Roman amphitheatre. Why not combine your stay with a trip to Venice which can be reached by catamaran? The trip across the Adriatic takes about 2 1/2 hours each way.
