Finding the Perfect Apartment in Croatia…
Apartments in Croatia are a fantastic way to see and get to know this beautiful country. With lovely cafe’s and restaurants serving delicious local fare, an apartment allows you to self cater and eat out at reasonable prices and really get a feel for the country! There are so many different places to pick though, where do you choose? Dubrovnik is one of the best places to rent an apartment in Croatia with its stunning old town and beautiful Banje Beach just next to it. There can be few more impressive beaches in Europe than this… Either side of the old town there are fishing villages with sweeping beaches and hidden coves just waiting to be discovered. Mlini Bay for example has a delectable selection of eateries near the waterside and pretty beaches all around the bay. There are water taxis into the old town of Dubrovnik if you fancy an excursion or venture further to one of Dubrovnik’s own islands for a real escape! Or just stay put in the bay and enjoy the laid back atmosphere.
The Peljesac Peninsula is Dubrovnik’s neighbour and is a famous wine region. It has idyllic fishing villages dotted up and down its coast and you can relax and enjoy the local wine and seafood. It’s the gateway to the islands too so if you want an apartment in Croatia on one of Croatia’s famous Dalmatian islands then hop across from here! Korcula, Hvar and Brac island are heavenly getaways and if you like quaint villages and untouched beauty, they are a good choice indeed. The natural quality of the environment is second to none and hasn’t changed for centuries.
Further up the coast we get to the Split and Zadar Rivieras which are a haven for exploring the many national parks, archipelagoes of islands and sightseeing opportunities. With so much history here spanning the Venetian empire, the Roman empire, the Illyrian tribes etc, you are spoilt for choice.
