Villa OverviewAs far as sea edge Croatia villas go, this one is hard to beat. The position of Villa Oceana, just outside Sumartin in Sumartin Bay is ideal for family holidays or groups of friends who want to spend time together while enjoying the natural bounties and delicacies of Brac Island. Those who prefer more entertainment and activity can easily visit Croatia's most famous beach, Zlatni Rat Beach or Bol Town, which has a lively nightlife and plenty of sporting activities.
Newly constructed on three levels, this Croatia sea edge villa is an outstanding example of modern Dalmatian architecture. The house is luxurious and elegant and has been created using the best of everything, from the striking crystal chandeliers, to the finest stone basins, beautiful fabrics and contemporary furnishings. Carefully thought out by an interior designer, every attention to detail and comfort has been considered.
It has large and incredibly light, airy rooms opening on to extensive terraces, partly shaded, comfortably furnished and very well equipped for outdoor living.
As one of few truly Croatia sea edge villas, this one is ideally located for exploring the beaches and islands of the Dalmatian Coast. There are some nice restaurants here too for a change along with coffee shops and boats to rent.
However no matter where you go you may be sure you will find perfectly transparent, clean unpolluted sea. There are a few small beaches within the bay itself with many more in nearby coves. This Croatia villa has a mooring for visiting boats and larger vessels can be anchored in the bay or in Sumartin harbour. A boat and skipper can be hired locally on a daily basis allowing guests to be transported to other islands and to experience a full range of water sports.
Those who prefer more entertainment and activity can easily visit Hvar Island and Hvar Town, which has a lively nightlife and plenty of sporting activities.
Villa LayoutAll the bedrooms open out onto terraces with fabulous views over the bay of Sumartin and the Biokovo mountain range. All the air-conditioned bedrooms have Egyptian cotton linens with opulent bathrooms and plenty of fluffy towels.
The stylish kitchen has uninterrupted views over the bay and holds all the gadgets needed to make cooking and hosting a pleasure. The living room combines contemporary furniture, artwork and sculpture mixed with antique and vintage pieces from France and India.
Outside you will find the stone infinity pool with stunning views over its horizon edge to the turquoise bay and mountains beyond. The pool has four infinity edges and an endless swimming jet. Surrounding the swimming pool there are plenty of sun loungers for you to enjoy a lazy day in the sun. Being a waterfront property, the villa is perfect for fishing fans who can relax and enjoy fishing from the jetty. The dining terrace has fabulous views of the mountain range in the evening making it the ideal spot to dine on the day's catch!
The two master suites can be found off the main entrance hall. Both benefit from full height glass windows giving access to the stunning sea and mountain views. Blackout curtains open to let sunbeams flood the room with warm light. Opposite the bed, the TV screens are linked to the central satellite. Both bedrooms have large private balconies with their own seating area allowing guests to take breakfast in privacy if they wish.
The living room and kitchen open onto an outside terrace area. Folding glass doors allow the floor to become open plan, creating an alfresco living environment. There is the option of dining inside or out. A glass wine cellar, media room and office can also be found on this level. Two further en-suite bedrooms with patio doors leading out onto the main terrace, give panoramic sea views. A self-contained spa with a sauna, steam room and gym can also be found on this level.

Location OverviewIn Sumartin Bay (1,2 km) and Selca Bay (2 km), which are the two closest villages, you can find restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.
Sumartin Bay is a very pretty village and surrounds the little harbour so you can always see colourful boats bobbing around. Sumartin Bay has some beautiful bays, beaches and coves. There are some nice restaurants here too for a change, along with coffee shops and boats to rent. The sea side town of Bol, famous for its stunning Zlatni rat beach is close by – lovely to spend the day in its old town and explore its beaches…
For more activity, why not make the most of a superb boat trips to Hvar Island and Hvar Town and to some top spots around the islands, with lunch – definitely recommended. Or, Makarska on the mainland is easily accessible in around 45 minutes on the ferry and makes for a good day trip, or why not hire a car and explore the island itself?
