‘GAME OF THRONES’ TOUR – FILMING LOCATIONS IN DUBROVNIK
Dubrovnik was the real life setting for ‘Kings Landing’ in the Hit HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’ – if you enjoyed the Dubrovnik episodes then it makes for a very interesting trip to see all the locations especially since Dubrovnik was a real life kingdom of its time and has some scintillating history of its own, not to mention the fabulous views and architecture.
In March of 2016, Dubrovnik was also home to arguably the biggest franchise in entertainment today – Star Wars. Optionally, your guide can take point out additional locations within Dubrovnik’s historical centre that were transformed by the film crew in preparation for filming of a new chapter in legendary sci-fi saga – The Last Jedi.
OVERVIEW
The specialised guide will take you around the places that were used as filming sets and which appeared on screen in many of the famous scenes. Be prepared to dive into the fantasy world of George R. R. Martin and enjoy a one of a kind tour of Dubrovnik. Entrance fee to Lovrijenac fortress is included in the price.

USUAL ITINERARY
Times are approximate and can be arranged with the guests
- 09.00 pick up from the bus/taxi drop off at Pile gate and brief introduction
- 09.05 walking tour of the Old City centre
- 11.00 tour ends
USEFUL TIPS
Bring comfortable shoes and preferably a hat or cap if doing the tour on a hot day. Water bottles are a good idea.

Active: walking tour, direct sun exposure for parts of the tour, usually several staircases to negotiate

Entrance tickets to St. Lawrence Fortress (2 more filming locations). Please note, long staircase to reach the fortress, not suitable for those with walking difficulties.
Private car or van transportation to pick up the guests at the accommodation and return them. Photo stop at a panoramic viewpoint above the city included.
