ZARA BAY APARTMENTS – NEAR HVAR TOWN, HVAR ISLAND
Perched on the beach in one of our favourite bays, the Zara Bay Apartments are perfect for small groups, or couples wanting to get away from it all.
Description
The Zara Bay Apartments are an awesome choice – perched on the beach just 5m from the sea – the bay has an off the beaten track feel but is only 10 minutes drive from busy Hvar Town with all it’s shops and restaurants etc and with other idyllic bays dotted along the coast, you can either relax on the beach or explore the area…
The property is made up of 2 x 3 bedroom apartments and faces the sea. Each has three bedrooms with double sofa bed in the living area, one or two bathrooms, air conditioning, TV, satellite, and terrace overlooking the sea (Azure has an open balcony, Milla has a conservatory style area). Guests also have shared use of the top terrace where there is also restaurant where guests get a discount!
Please note: There is an extra en-suite bedroom available on each floor if required – these have separate entrances just along from the main doors of the main apartments and are rented out separately otherwise if not required. The same stairways are used for access. Please enquire.
The bay is accessed via a turning off the road leading to Hvar Town – and is a great spot around 10 minutes drive from Hvar Town itself. The lane winds down the hill into the little village, which comprises a lovely selection of houses and apartments and two very nice restaurants leading down to the beach. The charm of this place is in its gorgeous atmosphere and that only a few select people seem to know about it. In fact it is one of the best places for swimming, relaxing and eating delicious local food whilst having a location away from the hustle and bustle of Hvar Town, but not too far to dip into it if you want – perfect!
There are actually two bays here and a lovely beaches to explore – the sea is usually calm like a mill pond. The restaurants are very relaxed and one overlooks the beach itself meaning you don’t have to venture too far for refreshment.
If you do feel like moving and seeing some other beaches, there are two other wonderfully beautiful bays on either direction, also close by. Hvar Town is a must for a day trip or an evening jaunt.
Boat hire can be arranged through the restaurant – also fishing trips ! if you fancy a fish BBQ one night.

Zara Bay Apartments is a seafront property divided into two apartments (ground floor & first floor), each with 3 bedrooms (sleeping 6 each):
- Apartment Azure (1st Floor) (2 Double Bedrooms & 1 Twin Bedroom, Double Sofa Bed in Living Area, 2 Bathrooms)
- Apartment Milla (Ground Floor) (1 Double Bedroom & 2 Twin Bedrooms, Double Sofa Bed in Living Area, 1 Bathrooms)

Top Terrace Restaurant – a restaurant during the summer – apartment guests have a discount.
