Mirca Bay is a pretty little place with beautiful beaches and scenery – just right for getting away from it all and relaxing but the next stop along from Supetar so an easy transfer and close to more action if you get restless.
On the beach there is a beach bar which offers pizzas and sandwiches called Mari Lu. Just across the street is a simple restaurant called Konoba Mate. There is also a really great restaurant is called The Grill Garden and it is some 1.5 km from the beach, outside the village in an olive grove with nice view.
Obviously Supetar has a good selection of bars/restaurants and supermarket and is just a 5 mins drive away or 10 mins bike ride – it is possible to walk in along the beach to Supetar in approx 20 minute. In Supetar there are also water slides and beaches.
Mirca Bay is separated into two parts with the beach village on one side and an older, more traditional stone village in the upper part – worth a wander as it’s really pretty. This area is known for its old olive groves and there are cycle tracks up through the olive groves which are great if you want to get out and about. There is usually an art exhibition every summer in Mirca Bay too so check it out!
