Ciovo Island
Konoba Duga is simply gorgeous – it’s one of those real hidden gems… Simple and rustic, with wooden open air tables and fishing nets strewn around – but quintessentially Croatian. It is situated in a beautiful little turquoise bay on Ciovo Island, just a short drive from Trogir. You do either have to drive here or get the water taxi boat but when you do it’s worth it. This is a “Konoba” so it’s local, organic produce and there isn’t much on the menu – they serve what is best for the season. Anything is therefore delicous on the menu here but arguably the steak is fantastic and what we’d go for every time. In fact we also visit this place for steak when we’re in town! Wash it down with some local wine which is scrumcious and then go for a lie on the beach and dip in the sea – heaven…
