Villa Bougainville is a Bol villa on Brac, located right on the beach, just half-way between the centre of the town and the glorious Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) beach – the villa is two separate dwellings connected by an inner courtyard with a very private swimming pool lying between.
Description
This elegant Bol villa on Brac island, is a stunning Croatia luxury villa. Villa Bougainville is fairly unique in its layout and design, and use of local Brac stone. A courtyard, replete with private pool and terracing, separates the two accommodation buildings. In this way, each individual person has privacy and space, but is also in close proximity to their companions.
Closest to the sea the first building has two bedrooms – the en-suite master with its own sea-facing terrace, and a further bedroom having the benefit of a balcony. Additionally a well-equipped kitchen, and dining and living areas are at the ground floor level. The dining terrace is sea facing and overlooks the lawn that runs down to the bottom of the garden nearest to the sea.
The second building fronts the pool courtyard and incorporates four 1-bedroom apartments all complete with their own kitchenettes and dining areas.
This villa would be a great choice for a larger family group as it comfortably sleeps up to twelve guests, and using the extra beds (sofa beds in living rooms) means that up to 16 guests can be accommodated. Because of the self-contained feature of the 1-bedroom apartments, would also make it ideal for groups of friends.
This Bol villa on Brac is located on the intriguing island of Brac – Bol Town, which in 2010 was awarded “the Absolute Champion of Croatian Tourism”. Brac is famous for its high quality, tasty olive oil, wine and authentic villages. Bol itself is beautiful, but has a lively side as it does have nightlife in the form of a couple of night clubs. Close by is the renowned Golden Horn beach – Villa Bougainville is located just half-way between the centre of Bol and this glorious beach.
The tip of the Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) changes shape each day due to the ever-changing sea currents. The beach, framed with deep pine groves for shade, is a favourite destination for surfers and sailors from various parts of Europe and the world because the sea channel between the islands of Brac and Hvar Island creates ideal winds for windsurfing.
